The Shatterds Sourcebook is built on D&D 5e (2014 SRD). The five native classes are designed for 5e rules with Onan-specific mechanics layered on top. The Essa system replaces spell slots entirely; all other 5e conventions apply.
Yes. The sourcebook includes adaptation notes for standard 5e classes in the Onan setting. The "Adapted Classes" section covers how existing classes interact with Essa and the Rig system.
Both. The Ragged Hook campaign threads are a self-contained campaign for levels 1–10. The species, classes, and Essa system can be extracted and used as a setting supplement for your own campaigns.
