Harbor Records Clerk — Ragged Hook Port Authority
Yara processes equipment returns and voyage records at the Port Authority. She is meticulous, underpaid, and has been coming to the Rendered Whale every night for three weeks because her crew went missing and she does not know where else to go. She knows the log was spliced. She has the timestamp gap. She has not said this publicly because she does not know who cut it, which means she does not know who she is safe to tell.
Motivation
Yara wants to know what happened to her crew. She is not a detective. She is a harbor clerk with access to the right records and the sense to know that access to the right records is dangerous when someone has already decided to kill people over those records.
Attitude Toward Players
Quiet, watchful, and desperate in a controlled way. She will test players before she trusts them — small pieces of information offered to see whether they handle the small pieces responsibly before offering the large ones.
